„July” is a film about three women of a generation that has lost its hopes in the post-Communist years. In a distant village on the Black Sea coast, they try to escape the arrogance and the triteness of modern society. The idyll is soon destroyed. Crime, violence and corruption reach the three women even in this far, deserted place. The only solution is to find their lost selves, with aspiration for freedom and life.
