Paolo Consorti

Born in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) in 1964. Paolo Consorti is an Italian artist, performer and director. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, and while there, he worked in several cinematographic collaborations with Sergei Bondarchuk. In 1991, he had his first solo exhibition at the Palazzo Ducale di Urbino. Since then his work has been exhibited in private galleries and public spaces in Italy and worldwide. In 2011 he was invited to the 54th International Art Biennale of Venice. In 2013 he made his first feature film Il sole dei cattivi which won the award for best film at the Film Festival Peoples and Religions of Terni.
