Sergio CorbucciSergio Corbucci was one of the most popular Italian filmmakers. He started his career in the 1950s and among his first features are Island Sinner (La peccatrice dell'isola) (1954), Chi si ferma è perduto (1960), The Two Marshals (I due marescialli) (1961) and Lo smemorato di Collegno (1962). In the second half of the 1960s he devoted himself to the Italian spaghetti western and his biggest success in undoubtedly Django (1966) with Franco Nero. Later he returned to light-hearted comedies and made a string of successful films, including The Beast (Il bestione) (1974), Di che segno sei? (1975), Neapolitan Mystery (Giallo napoletano) (1979), Count Tacchia (Il conte Tacchia) (1982) and Rimini Rimini (1987).
