Terry Jones

Terrence Graham Perry Jones is born 1 Feb. 1942. He plays several main roles in his life – as a comedian, as a story-teller, as a children books’ writer, an author of scientific articles and articles on the topic of international politics, composer, director and screenwriter of one of the all-time favorite films. Terry Jones studied history in Oxford and along his roles in TV and film productions, he writes books about Chaucer, the crusaders and life during the Middle Ages. Although he is world famous as a “Monty Python” actor and director, Terry Jones is also a historian and a writer and he teaches History of the Middle Ages in the Sorbonne and in UCLA. As an actor and screenwriter only Jones has over 38 titles in his filmography. He also composes the music for three “Monty Python” films.
