George Ovashvili

Born in Tbilisi, he studied at the Georgian State Institute of Film and Theatre (1996) and at the Hollywood branch of the New York Film Academy (2006). He has made several remarkable short films, with Eye Level winning awards at Berlin and Odense in 2005, and Wagonette (Special Jury Prize at Molodist Festival in Kiev). The Other Bank is his debut feature film, which was shown at 14th Sofia Film Festival.
